  May 1941 Yasuo Kikutake founded Yawata Seikosho Co. in Tsukiji-machi, Yahatanishi-ku in Kitakyushu to manufacture electric components for Yaskawa Electric Corporation as a subcontractor.
  October 1953 Sadaki Matsuki President & C.E.O.
  February 1954 Reincorporated and renamed to the current name.
  January 1957 Designated as a model plant by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency.
  June 1960 Commended for excellence in enterprise rationalization by the All Japan Federation of Management Organizations

  May 1964 Opened Honjo Plant.
  May 1965 Kurahei Kikutake President & C.E.O.
  July 1968 Head office and Tsukiji Plant consolidated into Honjo Plant.
  March 1969 Increased capital to JPY 100 million, the current capitalization.
  March 1973 Received the Director’s Award of the Fukuoka Prefectural Bureau of International Trade and Industry for excellent rationalized use of electric power.
  December 1974 Kurahei Kikutake assumed the head director position of the An-Kyokai Cooperative Association.
  February 1977 Expanded the welding shop and installed aluminum casting equipment.

  April 1982 Adopted TQC (Total Quality Control) activities.
  June 1982 Installed the computer-aided production management system.
  October 1983 Received the Director’s Award of the Fukuoka Prefectural Labour Standards Bureau for excellent occupational health management activities.
  December 1986 Augmented the welding division with advanced facilities to forge ahead with rationalization.
  September 1988 Installed a large machining center and large NC vertical lathe to expand facilities for large rotating machine production.
  June 1989 Constructed the DC servo motor (cup motor) plant and started OEM production.
  September 1990 Established the Wakamatsu Plant for the manufacture of marine electrical products and fishery processing equipment and machinery.

  November 1992 Kurahei Kikutake received the Medal of Honor with a Yellow Ribbon for his contribution to industry.
  April 1995 Started OEM production of DC motors.
  May 1995 Kurahei Kikutake assumed the office of chairman and director, and Teruhisa Ikeda President & C.E.O.
  April 1996 Started OEM production of high-speed motors.
  April 1999 Started OEM production of squirrel-cage motors for inverters.

  January 2001 Started OEM production of AC servo motors.
  May 2003 Teruhisa Ikeda assumed the head director position of the An-Kyokai Cooperative Association.
  May 2005 Teruhisa Ikeda assumed the office of chairman and director, and Hirokazu Kikutake President & C.E.O.
  October 2007 Acquired Eco Action 21 certification.
  November 2011 Started OEM production of AC servo motors (Σ-V series).
  March 2014 Installed an aluminum die-casting machine for rotors and a core notching robot to expand induction motor production facilities.
